Bertine Mitima-Verloop (PhD) is psychologist at Arkin and researcher at ARQ National Psychotrauma Centre. She is involved in different projects that focus on the psychosocial impact of war. In 2023, Mitima obtained her PhD at Utrecht University on the theme of rituals, commemoration and coping with loss and disruptive events.
