Anna Verwaal

Pre & perinatal educator

Anna Verwaal is a maternal-child health nurse, conscious conception & birth consultant, pre & perinatal educator and TEDx speaker. Because of her personal as well as professional experiences, she became very interested in the longterm effects of the conception, pregnancy and birth experience at an early age.

Meeting the founding fathers of the Association of Pre and Perinatal Psychology and Health, David Chamberlain, a USA based birth psychologist and Thomas Verny, a psychiatrist from Canada, confirmed that our earliest memories indeed begin long before we are born.

Since 2006 Anna lectures around the world sharing APPPAH’s latest science and research about the longterm effects of the pre and perinatal experience on all aspects of our lives.
