Martha Teijema has a background in international law, international public health, worked as an army platoon commander and is a trained registered nurse. She worked for different NGO’s as a project/program manager and a researcher and has a passion for bringing research to practice in various fields. Before she got involved with INEA in 2022, she was working with undocumented migrants, did research in South Africa, and trained teams for psychological first aid on Lesvos. She is passionate about bridging research/knowledge and practice for sustainable and well supported programs and projects.
Martha works as a project leader at INEA’s Knowledge Base. She is therefore closely involved in the organization of this congress.
