Scientific community building: joining INEA’s networking platform

INEA is developing a digital networking space in which we try to bring together national and international scientific researchers, students and practitioners that engage with topics of intercountry adoption.

In this session I will provide insights on this specific networking platform and through conversation collect feedback and ideas on how we can make this an efficient international platform. This session wil also function as a first networking space for future collaboration.

The platform will be designed to collaboratively formulating research proposals, addressing gaps in knowledge surrounding intercountry adoption, presenting ideas and giving each other feedback. The main focus is to stimulate growth of knowledge in the field of adoption through joint research efforts, based upon the needs and desires of adoptees. Our ultimate aim is to establish a robust and dynamic knowledge network that not only facilitates annual gatherings but also acts as an ongoing catalyst for collaborative research initiatives. We happily invite you to join us in this endeavor. Together, we can propel the knowledge network's mission forward, fostering a community dedicated to advancing the understanding of intercountry adoption in the daily lives of adoptees, biological families and adoptive parents.
